Description: Language Trends - PC Style
Have you noticed how the health care profession and the teaching
profession have been moving in opposite directions of late with regard
to who has responsibility for outcomes?
It used to be "The patient died"
Then it was "Negative longevity outcome"
Now it might be "Patient failed to fulfill his/her wellness
It used to be "The student failed"
Then it was "Unacceptably depressed test performance"
Now it might be "Profound instructional transmission failure"
Any other trends out there?
